UCA-NI Community Pharmacy Covid-19 Heroes Video

UCA-NI made a video "Community Pharmacy Heroes", celebrating the contribution of community pharmacy teams across Northern Ireland through the pandemic.

Pharmacies were a lifeline for their communities remaining open to ensure that patients continued to receive their medication on time, plus delivering a number of new services including the very successful vaccination programme. 

Behind the scenes, everyone working within the community pharmacy sector played a significant part in making this happen: our wholesalers and suppliers who ensured stock got though, voluntary & community groups who helped their local pharmacies, support organisations such as CPNI & UCA, colleagues in DoH/HSCB/PHA who supported pharmacy with new and updated guidance, and of course other traders & members of the community who were patient, supportive and often brought food to keep staff going.

So a big thank you and well done to everyone involved!
