OUT OF HOURS PHARMACY ROTA
Where there is no commercial opening, e.g. on a Sunday, weekday evenings and on Bank / Public holidays, selected pharmacies will open for a short period. This is mainly for the purpose of dispensing urgent prescriptions issued by out of hours GP services.

Select the nearest town to your location and look for the appropriate date on the calendar. Here you will see the pharmacy and opening hours. You may also be given the pharmacy phone number - you may wish to call ahead before making the journey, to ensure that the pharmacy can dispense your prescription or offer the service you require.

Emergency Depts – New advice to Phone First in BELFAST, Northern, Southern & Western Trust areas
For all emergencies that are life threatening always call 999 immediately. This can include: Stroke, heart attack, loss of consciousness, breathing difficulties, severe bleeding or major trauma. Text Relay for emergency calls Dial 18000
Belfast Trust area
Patients who have minor injuries should call 028 96 159 444 to be triaged by phone before being advised of the next steps to take. Phone First has been introduced to address ongoing capacity issues across Emergency Departments which has resulted in longer waits for your constituents aged 16+ with minor injuries. The service will operate 8am-6pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). Patients who require care outside these hours should attend the Emergency Department or call the GP Out - of - Hours service.
Patients who are experiencing potentially life-threatening illness or injury, who should call 999 for urgent medical attention.
